Found Zumba 2009! I’ve been hooked ever since ! I love how music and dance come together and truly make people HAPPY !
I love every minute of it . But most of all I love all the people I’ve met. And the wonderful friendship that have bonded over zumba .
The results are amazing. I have kept off 45 pounds because of Zumba. My classes are fun and easy to follow and feel like a party every time. Come to my class and you will work your core and mind. I choose songs that will keep you coming back for MORE. I love to talk to my students afterwards about any steps that need that extra focusing or they can always ask for requests. Happy students = A Happy Me. Lauretta lost 80 lbs with Zumba!

I began practicing yoga about 10 years ago, and began a regular practice 6 years ago when I found Westchester Yoga Arts. I was immediately hooked. It has been in times of my greatest need that yoga became much more than a practice, but a way of life and refuge. After I decided I wanted to change careers, I went on to complete the 200 hour teacher training at Westchester Yoga Arts.
I believe that through yoga we have the opportunity to open our hearts and recognize that the essence of our being is love. With practice we are able to love more, embrace each day, live in the moment, create joy and welcome every experience. Yoga! A beautiful way to help us create a world filled with loving kindness, compassion and love.

Yoga for me started as a means to lose weight. Since then life has never been the same before as it opened a world of possibilities. I have been practicing Ashtanga yoga, Iyengar yoga in India and Singapore. Moving back to NewYork I did my RYT 200 teacher training at Westchester Yoga Arts where I gained valuable understanding on the anatomy, philosophy and the teachings of yoga.
Apart from yoga some of my passions include writing, running, kettle bells, mixed movements from Bodokon Yoga, sports strength training combining body weight exercises with High intensity interval training(H.I.I.T).
I love to practice and teach yoga and share the benefits of this beautiful life changing practice.

Dancing has always been a love of mine. Listening to the music and moving my body to the beat makes me feel free. Zumba gives me that exact feeling. Music that makes you want to move and party; in a judgement free atomosphere. That’s what I provide to each and everyone of my students. Salsa, merengue, African hip hop, soca, hip-hop, and the lastest pop are just a few genres of music played in my classes. With Zumba I have been able to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle.
